No matter what is happening in your life, pause, be profoundly honest within and return to what you know is deeper. From there, your whole life is open to you.(From:”The Intelligence of Love, Manifesting Your Being in This World“)
A Special Night at Oasis College of Integrated Philosophy:
November 11, 2015 was an awesome night of celebration, where hundreds gathered to celebrate the arrival of John’s new book: The Intelligence of Love – and to celebrate John’s birthday. As many of you know, there was an official book launch in New York in early November, where John made himself available to speak to people in three different meetings/venues, offer media interviews, and engage in social conversations. Video clips from the New York visit were presented during last night’s event, and I think it safe to say, were thoroughly enjoyed by all.
The remarkable John de Ruiter offered to sign everyone’s books, which created a line-up that wended it’s way in various turns and curvatures throughout the back of the grand hall. It was deeply touching to see how beautifully John connected with each and every individual that handed him a book for signing. Sweet moments included those where we sang the happy birthday song (twice) to the master, who stood graciously in the centre of the room and smiled tenderly at the crowd. The cake, with a mini bonfire glowing on top, arrived a bit late…which is why we joyfully burst into song a second time. All candles were extinguished by John in one hearty breath, followed by thunderous applause and cheers.
I enjoyed reading “The intelligence of Love…” and I’m continuing to enjoy it by opening it randomly at times, and reading an excerpt that pertains to the moment. The link provided above will take you to the John de Ruiter website where there are some stellar reviews of this wonderful little book.
A big ‘thank you’ to John and to everyone who played a part in bringing this fine manuscript into form.Love from HeatherHarmony Editor, Concinnity Magazine
